Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, according to an announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down based on standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This event is not the first time that a American defense plane ferrying a senior official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was required to head back to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical fault.
